Guidelines and Rules for Participation

1. Bot Specifications

  • Size: The bot must fit within a 20cm x 20cm x 20cm box at any point in time.
  • Body Style: The bot can be circular or rectangular in style.
  • Weight: Maximum weight should not exceed 5kg, including the battery, with a tolerance of 5% in weight.
  • Original Work: The design and construction of the bot must primarily be the original work of the team.

2. Bot Functionality

  • Autonomous Operation: The bot must be controlled autonomously with no human aid.
  • Energy Source: The bot must not use an energy source employing a combustion process.
  • Body Integrity: The bot must not leave any part of its body behind while navigating the maze.
  • Interaction with Maze Walls: The bot must not jump over, fly over, climb, scratch, cut, burn, mark, damage, or destroy the walls of the maze.

3. Wireless Communication and Power Source

  • No Wireless Communication: No wireless communication between the bot and operator will be allowed. Bluetooth, RF Module, etc., are not allowed on the bot.
  • Controller Unit: The controller unit should be embedded in the robot and cannot be placed outside the robot.
  • Power Source: The robot must be powered by a battery fixed on the robot. It cannot be powered by a stationary power source connected to the robot by a cord.

Team Participation

  • If multiple teams participate from one organization, each team must have its own robot. Sharing the same robot between teams will result in immediate disqualification.

5. Prohibited Items

  • Ready-made kits are not allowed and will result in immediate disqualification.
